Lasagne

lasagnaLasagne adds a touch of Italy to any pub menu. This tasty baked treat is a very popular dish and best served with a crisp green side salad and chips or even garlic bread. The lasagne is made of layers of flat pasta sheets with scrumptious tomato sauce cheese and spicy minced meat weaved between them then baked until golden brown and juicy with oozing cheese and tomato sauce. The Australian version of the lasagne is much more solid and rigid than that of many other countries including the USA. In many of the Australian recipes a more condensed tomato sauce and harder cheeses like cheddar, parmesan and tasty are used. While in many other countries the standard recipie uses softer cheeses and a more juicy sauce producing a lasagne with less form.
